Claim: Vivek Ramaswamy claims Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection was an “inside job”
The claim that the Jan. 6 attacks on the Capitol was an “inside job” by law enforcement agencies, put forth by Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, is false owing to the fact that there is no evidence of the FBI orchestrating the attacks.
Claim: At a Dr. Oz campaign event in PA, an employee holds a campaign poster to read “Dr. No.”
A photo during a Dr. Oz Campaign Event in Pennsylvania was changed so that the campaign poster read “Dr. No” instead of the original photo, which featured the campaign poster reading “Dr. Oz.”
Claim: Mail-in ballots have significant voter security issues and none of them should not be counted as they could be fraudulent.
Despite claims about rampant voter fraud, mail-in voting has significant safeguards, including verifying signatures individually, to prevent fraud - in fact, an independent analysis found only 0.0025% of possible voter fraud in over 14 million ballots in states with universal mail-in voting.
Claim: Ranked choice voting undermines our democratic system.
Ranked choice voting has gained traction as an alternative voting system in recent years. While its success requires significant voter education efforts, there is no evidence to suggest that it undermines our democratic system or rigs elections.
Claim: In Bergen County, NJ election officials fraudulently awarded more votes to Governor Phil Murphy after all votes were counted.
The early vote numbers from New Jersey’s election only reported votes cast in-person at the polls on Election Day and did not include the counts from early voting ballots, mail-in ballots, or provisional ballots.
